On 15 and 16 December 2017, in Blagoevgrad, a final conference of project “Promotion of Decentralized Energy Production from Renewable Energy Sources – EnerGain” was held.
The final conference was attended by representatives of SME’s working in the field of RES and EE, NGO’s in support of business and business clusters, educational institutions and local and regional authorities from Bulgaria and Macedonia.
In the frame of the event were presented the results of the project’s realization which throughout the whole implementation period has been a useful platform for an exchange of experience and good practices, as well knowledge in the sphere of renewable energy and its advantages presentment.
Key accents during the conference were realized successful projects in the construction of decentralized energy systems and various scopes of investment of RES projects in Bulgaria. The participants got acquainted with the essence and principles of operation of a practical intelligent street, industrial and tunnel lighting LED management system.
Within the framework of the event were displayed Energy independent demonstration house models, developed as part of the project’s activities which are being provided for free use for educational and demonstration purposes. As part of the official agenda, education and information video clips on different renewable energy sources and their application for various designations have been shown and discussed.
This project is a joint initiative of SPEE-BG and Foundation for Local and IT Development – Gevgelija from Macedonia, which is being implemented with the financial support of the European Union throught the Interreg-IPA “Bulgaria – the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” cross-border programme, and is aimed at improving the awareness, knowledge and competencies in decentralized energy production of RES, and introduction of innovative energy efficiency solutions.
